Rosemary Shultz: “Tied to You” Single Release
Date: Released August 28th, 2026 Moon: Full Moon Lunar Eclipse Pisces
Introspection From Melinoe:
Welcome Ghouls, Demons, and Fellow Wyrd Ones!!! Blessed Virgo Season. In honor of the Maiden, this Earthy Harvest Season, and Lunar Eclipse in Pisces?! I would love to spotlight our Folk Americana Virgo Queen, Rosemary Shultz! Who released this Single on her 30th Birthday during her Saturn Return! Whooooo!!! Fucking Hell do I just LOVE magick and Astrology. I love watching my friends and fellow women, my consœurs créatives, flourish. I have witnessed the blossoming of this tune, and of Rosemary since August 24th, 2024. Rosemary is a key Starpoint in my journey here in Nashville. I am lucky to surround myself with Dreamy Driven Goddesses living by Intuition, and a Leap of Faith. And it all began when our mutual friend, an Aries named Leena, invited me out to enjoy Rosemary’s performance at the Bowery in East Nashville. There is an undeniable full circle loop into our stories that truly provides grounded evidentiary support to the trust granted to such phenomena as String Theory- the philosophical inspiration of emotion behind the song written and released to the public. I can’t help but identify that wisdom shared through lived experience, and the beautiful execution that Rosemary provided in artistically expressing that shared wisdom from her own experience.

As I yapped my way into another friendship post Bowery performance, Rosemary and I slowly developed our own connection. I ventured to the Teakwood Garden (RIP) to dive into Rosemary’s Musical World once more. I was there when she performed the Harmonica for the first time live. I took a day off my neurotic schedule to dress up like a fairy princess, and enjoy some tea at the Troll House Cottage. I badgered my husband to take me to the 1865 Club when we were counting pennies to support our evening out. I fought my way to show up to house shows haggardly when I felt like the social experience would be a direct cause of my death. And after I bit the bullet to write my first Rock Oracle Article? Rosemary’s TreeHouse Collab was the first local show I covered as an Oracle for Rock Oracle. To get to my point, it has not always been easy for me to nurture a connection with Rosemary. In fact, both of us have been on the hustle with our Earth energy, and Watery Dreams. Yet, there has been a String Tied to You, Tied To Me.
When I reflect upon my story with Rosemary, I laugh at all the tense moments. Not tense in a negative sense. It’s the intensity of the grind. The relentless, ruthless work that has to be done. A true testament to your spirit in the moments you choose to show up, and to cross that finish line. Pouring inspiration into one another from our own independent gifts, or realms of magick. Rosemary has nurtured me in perfect alignment to her birth chart, elemental and zodiac based energies, and the lot of it. Needless to say, she is a bright, powerful Maiden. A true Healer of Virgo. A Weaver of Muse through the essence of Jupiter, Pisces and Mercury. I wouldn’t have had the strength to carry on along this path of mine if it wasn’t for the soft kindness given to me from Rosemary. Rock Oracle, and my Musical spark owes a grandiose round of applause to my lovely friend, and dearest peer.

Through our connection, I was slowly acclimating myself back into a familiar scene, and sense of self. Through Rosemary’s music I felt a part of my heart being seen and transmuted into the finest work of art. I cannot give her enough kudos for the effort she has put into finalizing this project with this single release. From the backstory, to the first live attempts, and all the way to this mass public production? Magick. Beauty. Pure Nashville Poetry. I adore the Hero’s Journey, and the story that is Rosemary Schultz. The life she has lived, and the life she continues to cultivate. Hands down one of the best Folk Americana performers of this Generation. To which I follow with all the respect in my heart- as every season in life comes to an end, so does every era’s icon. The earth, as well as society, must make room for new life. Not that anyone could ever replace Dolly Parton, nor would anyone ever want to take her place.. However, as far as beautiful, kind hearted, good, soul driven, compassionate, and empowering women are concerned? I would have a strong argument that in some sense of the meaning behind it all, Dolly passed on her Torch to Rosemary as she continues to debut out into the Music Scene here in Nashville.
“Tied to You” has a classically antique harmonic opening that sways into a romantic western melody. The String symbolism implements itself in every way imaginable. However, the harmonica steals the show as a memorable hum that takes over any tune that could be cycling through your mind. Rosemary’s soft, raspy voice sets the atmosphere for a peaceful listening experience. I envision a speaker playing while I sit in the meadows watching the sunset. Or listening to the song while playfully swinging on a tire swing into the watering hole. As well, I could envision a lovers scene- pickup truck, starry night and a fire pit. There is an aspect of the single that depicts the midwest culture remarkably. While we can attune ourselves to the southern themes, and generalized country vibe- the subtle shade, the unique Ohio- touch that can be felt through the song is a trademark that only Rosemary could provide.

String Theory reminds us that we are who we are. We are eclectic beings molded from our experiences, and the lives we have lived. While we can feel shame, or embarrassment for where we have been, it has also gotten us to where we are. Equally, that distinctive combination is what makes us all special. The perfect combination of eccentricities to live a life as a sovereign being with their own story to share. The encouragement to continue to create regardless of circumstance. To show up and be a part of history. To experience the culture of your generation. That uniqueness is what separates you from the crowd. Not only to get you seen. But to grant you the power to carve out your own place in this world. To leave your legacy behind for all to experience and learn from. As well, I believe that the String Theory can teach us that we define who we attach our cords to. We decide which strings we nurture to become impenetrable, which ones we allow to wither away, and which ones we sever. If it is truly meant to be? That love, that opportunity or experience, will never pass you by. It will find you at the next stop, and love you through whichever phase of metamorphosis you are undergoing. Trust yourself to take action as you feel called. Never be afraid to fight. Just keep swimming, and refuse to give up on your Heart’s Finest Vision. The work may not be easy, but it will always be worth it to Live a Life of Your Dreams- Achieving Every Childhood Worthy Goal.

“I don’t do coffee shop meetings. I want to sit in the bed of my truck and eat tacos from a gas station food-truck and talk with you all afternoon as the Southern summer sun sets. I want to talk about your album and plan our photoshoot while we fish and my dogs run around, getting us muddy. I can’t take overhearing one more Nashville tech bro talkin’ about his million dollar deals in a coffee shop with nowhere to park my truck. I reckon that’s about all you need to know about me and working with me.”
