Emperor & Blood Incantation: The Emperial Wrath Tour
April 8th, 2026 Waxing Gibbous Sagittarius to Capricorn- Last Quarter in Capricorn
Welcome Ghouls, Demons and Fellow Wyrd Ones! This lovely Wednesday, as a delectable treat, our weekly visitation from the energies of Mercury granted us an evening with Emperor and Blood Incantation at the Brooklyn Bowl here in Nashville, TN. How glorious is it to note that the Bible Belt welcomed in such Satanic Music and Artists to initiate us All into a new phase of Self Empowerment this Aries Season. You cannot deny the prolific symbolism. Emperor and Blood Incantation, the names themselves offer a subtle insight into the experience that awaits you along this tour. As well, the tour is strictly under the bounds of an Aries Solar and Lunar Cycle. Aries and Mars Rule the “Emperor” Tarot card, as well, Saturn has stationed into a cycle of Aries disciplinary action. Titling the tour “Emperial Wrath” can only anchor us down into a deeper truth of this ritualistic moment in time. It was quite an honor to be a part of this historical moment. Emperor has been to the USA a handful of times, engaging with festivals and drop in shows. However, this was their First North American Tour since 1999. Being the Controversial Black Metal Band that they are, I expected there to be some outrage here in the South. However, the gods that be must’ve blessed this union, as everything was smooth sailing. At least from my point of view. My bias (personal experience of initiation) will paint a picture of a perfect evening. An evening with Friends, Philosophical and Artistic Passion, and Purely Devout, Saturnian Love.

Our evening began by Ubering over to Brooklyn Bowl. Immediately locking eyes on a GoatWhore “Fucked By Satan” shirt and a Sea of Vibrant Red Hair standing next to our GoatWhore Man. Recognizing our friends, we politely cut into the line to Cross the Threshold into this Journey. We made our way through the Venue. Grabbed a drink at the upstairs bar. Re-Connected with Artist, Brooklyn Bowl Bartender and Artsy Fartsy Host- Morganne Allen. (Stay Tuned for Future Rock Oracle Articles about Morganne and Artsy Fartsy!) Finalizing our Pristine Concert spot along the balcony. Blood Incantation had began their performance, seducing us all to be perfectly primed and aroused for what was to come with Emperor.
Blood Incantation is an American Progressive Death Metal Band from Denver, CO. A unique co-host and counterpart to this Emperial Wrath Tour. Blood Incantation are explicitly not Satanic in the traditional sense. They eschew standard religious, satanic, and necromantic tropes for cosmicism. Instead of mythological fantasy that can be over-used for shock value in the metal scene, they explore “hidden histories,” quantum fields, the holographic universe, and ancient civilizations. They have argued that these concepts are not fiction, but reflections of a “way bigger” reality. Their work explores the concepts that reality is a manifestation of consciousness itself, aiming for spiritual “Zen” moments through death metal. Granting themselves permission to enter realm of Agnostic or Positivist Takes within their philosophy. This can sometimes be deemed a rarity within Metal, Black Metal and Death Metal. I appreciate the authentic and personal stance they stake on their art, music and personal theology. Emphasizing a more scientific and metaphysical exploration of the Universe without getting lost in the need for Brutality, “Evil” and other performative tropes. They are often described as a “positive take on what death metal can be,” focused on self-discovery, knowledge, and creating new realities rather than destroying the existing one. A breath of fresh air when it comes to the Nihilistic and Anti-Cosmic tendencies of this genre and music scene.

Their performance was enchanting and entrancing. I could feel into the subtleties of the Feminine within their presence. As if they were blessed by the Goddess aspects of the Divine. Flowing into rhythm, atmospheric intention and ritualistic dance elements of magick. I found myself lost into a state of subconsciously driven movement. An elegance that one would dream of having surrounding the soundtrack to their Underworld Coronation. I loved the duality that was presenting itself within the performance. With all the respect in my heart, if Emperor was to represent the Masculine or the Yang elements of the Show, as well as the Masculinity within our Martian/Aries themes, then I would argue that Blood Incantation was the Feminine, Venusian and Yang expression of these elements. Regardless of anyone’s personal belief system and how they choose to translate these energies, there was a dynamic duo and initiation of wholeness present. What an incredible Opening Ceremony to our Year One, Age of the Fire Horse, and so on.
I have been a fan of Blood Incantation for some time now. Noting songs here and there. Not quite diving in wholeheartedly. However, witnessing their performance and feeling the energy live and in person? Left me desiring something more. Craving a deeper connection to their presence. I can only express the experience to be depicted in the same light of a woman who was properly pleasured and worshiped. Adjuring for more! Needless to say, I will be a bit more greedy about how often I rotate them into my music cycles moving forward. Between the phenomenal stage presence, performance, Cosmic Initiation and Iconic Skullet, I have been Alchemically altered forever. I look forward to future Lunar Rituals, dancing beneath the Cosmos with Blood Incantation as the Soundtrack to my Ritual Dance. Elevating the potency of the Power within.

As we awaited Emperor, we connected with the rest of our friend group. Swiftly making our way through the Merch Line. Casting a Circle of Peers and enjoying a few puffs of our Green Planet Sour Diesel Joint. I hadn’t felt this much myself in a very long time. Reminiscing of the days in which I would dress to the Nines in my Metal Chick Fits. I was always first to the venue, first to stand in line and first to stake out my spot along the front stage barricade. I always wanted be to front and center. To burst my eardrums and overwhelm my third eye with the force of music. Nowadays, I have learned the harsh lessons and need for Ear Protection. (You were right mom…) As well as, the desire for a new concert experience. I felt into the evolution of my concert goer attitude. While I don’t regret my time front row, there is nothing better than taking a few moments to free yourself from the egoic chains and enjoy the community. As a young metal head, I had a horrific fear of missing out. As if leaving my position along the front row, or being last in line, would somehow “ruin” my experience. For the first time, I was relaxed to be at a show. I wasn’t worried about superficial plot points in the storyline of my concert experience. I felt presence. The Awareness of such presence was humbling. Not to say I’ve wasted my time, however, I have most certainly put myself through more discomfort and Hell than I ever needed to. Allowing the event to unfold without a need to control and curate my experience, left me with a more memorable escapade. I didn’t feel as if I had to prove my right to be there, especially as a Female in Metal. I didn’t feel the Bravado within my need to be loud about who I was and why I was there. We could label the blame on a variety of reasons- my childhood, the Patriarchy or the American Metal/Music Scene Culture. Regardless of why I was the way I was, to realize I am free of that now, brought me to my knees in surrender. I surrendered to the Music of the Night. My Angel (Daemon) of Muse.

As I was free to live out my night, I enjoyed the company of soulful friends. My heart gleamed at the brotherhood and bliss that manifested amongst my Husband’s typically hardened face. Witnessing him lay down his sword, remove his armored mask and float in self acceptance. I couldn’t ask for anything more. This reminded me of the aligned, divine and harmonious radiance I witnessed overcome Chad while we were in Norway for Caerimonia Nidrosiæ. As Emperor is a Norwegian band, I couldn’t help but correlate the magick of manifestation appearing before our very eyes. Another gumdrop of alignment along our Crooked Path. Chad and Dustin Eagerly found their way back to the balcony. They had waited aeons for this moment, with this band. Stacy and I remained on the main floor. Snackin’ and yappin’ away as Emperor opened their ceremony. For a moment, I felt what it meant to have an authentic soundtrack serenading my life. I could pause, slow down and breathe. Peculiar how safe and secure I felt in the opening moments. As if my Inner Masculine was finally at peace with himself. As I took these moments for myself, and to bond with my favorite Gemini, I felt more gratitude for my life than I have ever felt before. The entire journey, all of the horrors, leading me here, to this moment. Allowing the Music to Consume me, I let go. We all made our way to meet up with Chad on the balcony to finish out Emperor’s set. Granting permission and welcoming the Beast Within.

Emperor put on an exceptional performance. Enticing us all with a similar enchanting, hypnotic frequency. Emperor is rooted in the second-wave Norwegian Black Metal scene. A scene that often used the “Satanic” label for shock value and (necessary) Anti-Christian rebellion. A difficult scene to navigate Authentic Occult Practitioners from Mainstream Rebels that are Flailing without a true direction of Cause. I want to note, there is nothing wrong with Aestheticism, nor Atheistic Satanism in various realms of expression. I believe all forms have a value in the collective War against the Christian/Abrahamic Regime. With that being said, I find specific groups deserve more flowers and praise for their stances and art work. Not every Band is a Messenger of Mercury, nor a Warrior of Mars. It can be important to discern the differences in music groups and understanding the role they play. Emperor (led by Ihsahn) moved towards a more abstract, intellectual philosophy within their art. Assisting within the discernment process that blurs the lines within the Metal community. Emperor focuses more on Promethean and/or Luciferianism. A philosophy often described as “philosophical satanism,” or a form of enlightened rebellion that has been influenced by Nietzsche and the Promethean myths. Which sees Satan not as a literal red devil, but as a symbol of individualism, self-determinism, and the pursuit of forbidden knowledge against oppressive dogma (particularly the Abrahamic Theologies). Within their early work, Emperor focused on atmospheric black metal, nature, and mythology. Which I find bridges them to Blood Incantation divinely for this Tour. As they progressed within their creative endeavors and musical experimentations, they became more sophisticated, moving toward themes of “Satanic Darwinism.” A philosophy that dives into the survival and empowerment of the individual elite. Hoping to evolve beyond the childish fantasy-based satanism of some peers within the genre and music scene. An evolution I find necessary for us all as we mature within our Satanic Philosophies and understandings. I find all stages of gnosis to be necessary. While not impossible, it can be a tripping hazard to avoid initiatory steps along the path. The story of Emperor and their philosophic evolution within their musings, is a beautiful tale of such an initiatory journey.

That being said, I found their presence to be a potent Masculine Initiation for us all. Whether the inner masculine energies of all humans, or the wholeness of masculinity within all males, Emperor Charged forth and acted as a Beacon of Light to lead the Masculine essence. I felt the transformation within myself. I witnessed it within my husband. As well, I experienced the shift within the overall tone to everyone around me. The energy before the show, to the energy after the show, was noticeably shifted. How blessed were we all to attend such a powerful showcase of magick. The energy was almost overwhelming. A deep exertion that was absolutely necessary to transcend into a New World. I would love to argue that Emperor and Blood Incantation carved out a space of healing. Planting their flag on American Soil. Shooting an Arrowed Bridge from Norway to the States. An Omen of Resurrection for the Old Gods, the Old Ways and the Dismantling of the False God, the False state of Masculinity and the Status Quo that binds us all into enslavement.

I found myself hosting a new Orb of Energy. Based on Astrological timing, there was a connection from the Root to the Crown, bursting through a barricade of the Throat Chakra. While this may be personal to me, I would be curious to understand the impact on a collective scale. As my beloved and I were granted with Capricorn Mercuries at birth, I find these sequence of events to be a necessary phase of evolution, healing and transformation for us. Especially as Emperor and Blood Incantation began their performance as the Moon shifted from Sagittarius into Capricorn. Leading the way into the final conclusionary release of the Last Quarter Capricorn Moon of this Aries Season. A lovely Omen from the Capricorn Current within our Ceremonia Memoriam in Trondheim, Norway, to my TRIVAX Anti-Abrahamic Current Article at the Aries New Moon, all the way to this Coronation with Emperor at this axis of Crucifixion and Resurrection within these Blessings of Spring. Submerged within the Infinite Void, I awoke with a necessary purge and need for integrated rest. I can feel the World Transforming. The Old Ones are Awakening. The War has just Begun. May we all Answer the Call of the Seventh Trumpet. Trudging forward beside the Four Horsemen to bring forth a New Age. An Age of Enlightenment. An Age of Freedom.
Live Deliciously. Love Authentically. And Always, Stay Wyrd.
