Metallica Headlines Daytona’s Welcome To Rockville

We have some great rock ‘n roll news for our friends in Florida. Our favorite rock festival, Welcome To Rockville has relocated to Daytona International Speedway, after years in Jacksonville. Good news for us, as that is basically in our backyard.

And yesterday, the news got better. Iconic hard rockers Metallica will be headlining the festival… and playing 2 nights!

The 3 Day festival hits Daytona from Friday, May 8th through Sunday May 10th, with Metallica playing the opening and closing nights. As a nice feature, the band will be playing two different sets, which is great news, as their musical library is overflowing with fantastic songs.

Metallic also announced that they will be headlining all 5 Danny Wimmer Presents festivals next year:

• May 1-3 – Epicenter at its new location at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC
• May 8-10 – Welcome To Rockville at its new location at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, FL
• May 15-17 – Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, OH
• September 18-20 – Louder Than Life at Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, KY
• October 9-11 – Aftershock at Discovery Park in Sacramento, CA

No other bands have been announced yet, but the lineup at Rockville is great every year. We strongly encourage you to buy your tickets now. Trust us on this – if you love hard rock, you will love the lineup.

The festival offers dynamic pricing for their General Admission tickets. In fact, they have already sold out of the lowest price tier. VIP Tickets are $500 each. And be forewarned that the service fees are ridiculously high.
