TreeHouse Nashville- Waning Gibbous in Scorpio
A Collection of Underground Artists Gathered on March 7th, 2026 to Summon Spring
Twas a fairly standard rainy, and mildly stormy, Nashville (almost Spring) Saturday. A perfect night for the Underground Music Scene of aspiring artists that lurk within the streets of this city. Ambitious beings, with a vision, a dream, a heart and a purpose to climb the mountain that is their artistic legacy. Here under the Waning Full Moon, now in Scorpio, hidden by the dark clouds. A perfect night to cozy up with a dear friend, enjoy an immaculate charcuterie board (handcrafted by Hive Board Nash) and experience the musical craft from the bleeding hearts of Nashville. TreeHouse Nash was hosting their March show at the lovely Rosemary Schultz’ home. I had the pleasure to witness a night full of local, underground, debuting, passionate, and everything in between, artists, creatives and musicians. Here the community gathered into an intimate space, all for the shared love of music.

TreeHouse is a Labor of Love, created with intention for the sustainability of music, art and the community of creatives who pour their souls into their craft, each and every day. Originating in Los Angeles, Mar Lamar extended the TreeHouse into a Nashville Branch. Mar Lamar is a Senior Singer, Songwriter, Musician and Artist with 14 years within the industry and craft. Her style and sound are deeply influenced by the 90’s alternative scene. Gathering inspiration from staple artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Fiona Apple and Tracy Chapman. Creating an eclectic and personal Alternative Folk sound for her Musings. Mar Lamar has released a new song called ‘Selfish Beast’ available for all to dive into as we prepare for her next studio album, set to release sometime in April or the Late Spring. In the meantime, Mar Lamar is focusing her energy on this expansive, community driven venture. She dreams of establishing a secure environment for musicians and artists with an emphasis on community and art overall.
TreeHouse Nash is a beautiful network of revolutionists bearing their souls and utilizing their voices to share a message with the masses. A safe space to share and transmute the emotions of our modern world culture, political climate and AI battles. TreeHouse Nash is a donation-based project, funded by Mar Lamar and her spouse. Ensuring that the horrors within the economic climate do not inhibit the accessibility to music, art and the next generation of inspiring voices and spirits alike. All donations to TreeHouse Nash assist in financial support for the events, the artists and the expansion of this heavenly vision. TreeHouse Nash is setting high goals in hopes of having a secure and permanent venue in the future to host their Vision.
However, for now, each show is hosted locally, underground, within the comforts of an artist’s home and creation sanctuary. If you feel called, contact Mar Lamar or TreeHouse Nash for a donation or contribution to this humanitarian project. All support, financially or otherwise, would mean the world to all involved parties. As well, your support will assist any artists who took a leap of faith, welcomed the Fool’s Journey and left home in search of home. In search of a Dream. And for those who found Home within Music and a community, they never thought would ever exist.

With that, we begin this acoustic show with a lovely performance from Keeley and Makayla, beautiful twin sisters from Florida. They express themselves within an Indie Pop Genre. Citing influences and inspiration from artists such as Lawrence, a soul-pop group from New York. Keeley and Makayla performed three phenomenal songs that radiated deep feminine emotions and themes. Opening the showand their set with their song ‘Only Me With You.’ I would describe their performance, sound and lyrics to be a soft, beachy blend of Lana Del Rey and Hayley Williams, with a unique and personal twist.
Their Florida upbringing and cultural lens could be heard within the poetry of their lyrics, and specifically highlighted within their song ‘Land Locked.’ A heart wrenching song about fighting for your dreams, even if it means leaving home, all you have ever known and any sense of comfort the Ocean may bring. They closed their set with their song, ‘Aphrodite’ continuing to express their foundational essence within Divine Feminine frame workings. I found their voices to resemble that of a Siren. I could feel the potency of their frequencies. Feeling enchanted by their sound and finding a connection to the Water Elements and Spirits of our World. To my surprise, these twinsies are Sagittarius Suns. However, to no one’s surprise, they have been granted these talents as a gift from Jupiter, and all the other magickalsecrets within their birth charts. Regardless, there is no doubt there is passion and soul purpose within these sisters.
Not to self-insert, however, it reminds me of a poetic faerie tale I wrote, “Isabella & Samantha, Selkies of the North.” It was beautiful for me to witness this duo. An aspect of my own healing and souljourney. A confirmation of my Art. My art living in the real world. A lovely mirror. Only an insight granted by the Universe herself… And that solves the astrological mystery on how these two Sirens ventured away from the Sea, to spread their message of love, femininity and depth to those Land Locked away from the medicine of the soul. The medicine of the Salt Water. The Medicine of a Siren Song. Theirpresence and performance leaves you curious for more. Curious about them as inspiring young ladies and curious to witness where their art shall lead, not only them, but the hearts of the world. I do notwish to end this with bias or express limitation to the spectrum of gender, however, I see these women leading a movement that heals the hearts of young girls, sisterhood, women kind, and deep feeling souls alike.

For our Second Performance, we had my Glorious Red Headed Wild Woman. The One, The Only, The Lovely, Rosemary Schultz. Rosemary was the House Host for this TreeHouse event. Her second, HouseHosted presentation. Perhaps there is something to the #2 here. Perhaps I am dreaming up all the significance I can muster for my beloved friend. To highlight all that this moment represents to a dear friend and submerge into the magick of everything aligning all together, all at once. My Dearest Rosemary, a Virgo, a remarkable Folk Americana Singer, Song Writer, Creator and Dreamer. I love this coronation of self within the community. A woman with quite the life story. A woman of intellect and interest. Her introspection and poetry within her music reaches a healing frequency only a Virgo Woman could octave. She has a rasp in her voice. An eerie undertone of something mysterious and majestic. Authentic Depth and Emotion, a story of her soul imbedded within every note. Rosemary is vulnerable within her lyrics and her performance. Often challenging herself with every performance. Not necessarily choosing the easy path, or the simplest form of expression. Striving to be the Best.
To follow in the footsteps of inspiring women like Stevie Nicks and Sharon Van Etten. Rosemary is not only a singer, but a Visionary. Her essence and voice sets a tone, creating a mood. You can feel into the Green Wood. The Nature of her truth. She began her act with ‘Ramblin’ Woman.’ A soft and haunting song. There is a whimsical, slightly southern gothic, and pure sense of Appalachia within her sound. There is no hiding of the materials of nature that inspire her vision, her creation, and her intention. Moving onto the second song of her evening, Rosemary performed her new song ‘Ohio’ for the first time. A homage to the land of birth and development. A heart torn between the life of her dreams, and the life she has always known. She explores themes of leaving pieces of your heart, perhaps your soul, behind. Answering the question that haunts her. “Do I take this risk, this leap of faith.” The more we create, the more we prove that to be the calling of purpose within life. Rosemary exhibits what it takes to lead by example and extend another branch that is the TreeHouse of Life. The powerful, mycelium of music. Rosemary intended to incorporate her harmonica into the second song, however, for any reason you could imagine, she “forgot” her harmonica. Transitioning and improvising with grace. Peacefully embracing a moment of humanity within this picture perfect, plastic surgery world.

To be a woman, to be flawless within flaws. To break the fourth wall and share with the audience a moment of “whoopsie daisy.” Absolutely inspiring. Ending her night on a personal favorite, ‘Tied to You.’ A heartfelt song expressing the belief and trust in String Theory. A theory of hope and of love. I have witnessed Rosemary’s evolution of this song, and this performance, as a one-woman band. Transparently flowing through her emotions. Her hopeful(less) romanticism. And the earthy, rebellious, Wild Woman strength to pursue her legacy. Always a pleasure to experience Rosemary’s music, and indulge in her homemade cookies and hospitality. Up next, we were set to hear Lauren Morse. Another Virgo, blessed in song by the powers of Mercury. Lauren is a Folk Americana singer and song writer from Jackson, Michigan. Leaving the North to follow her heart’s connection to the southern nature of living. While she is a Northerner, it is apparent she has a genuine, and deep connection to the South and the Southern Sound. She cites alignment with artists such as Alanis Morissette, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash & a splash of June Carter.
She presents to the eye as a Kiera Knightley. A Southern, Pirate with an edge. A woman of great Angst, Ambition and Will. She opens up her performance with a political wrath presenting her song, ‘Your Problem Now.’ Feeling into the youthful anger at the world and the incompetent leaders who have seemingly doomed us all. Acoustically, this song was beautiful, a bit somber. Add a groovy, bluesy, jazz band? This song is a fuck you to the mainstream music that neglects the soul. A reminder to the historic significance of music, of art and what it means to weaponize your voice. But, what more would you expect from this Virgo Beauty cloaked in a Scorpio Moon? This song gives a taste of potential for an epic, next generation, political rage, rebellion concept album. We should all stay tuned for what is to come. As we transition to the next song, Lauren sings a tale of grief. Her song ‘Funny Bone’ dives into the yearning, deathly heart of the feminine. The empathy and complexity within desiring a better world. The polarity of suffering and harmony. The weight of grief when your heart witnesses the death of beauty, and of love. A softening before igniting her final song of the evening. For the finale, Lauren performed ‘Sally Lee’ a covid era inspired song. An epiphany of hope when the world slowed down. How the abrupt halt of the rat race allowed space for Mother Nature to harmonize. One could speculate limerence, or perhaps idealism. I see the innocence of a child coming to the surface. A hope that life can be as beautiful, exciting and free as it once was. Perhaps as a child. Perhaps in small moments of peace. When one is discovering the beauty of a seashell, and daring to share it with another peer. Lauren Morse released a new album March 6th, 2026.

As we await the setup of our Fourth Musical Act of the Evening, Mar Lamar expressed a poetic story of hers. A story of her tough Great Grandmother. A woman who survived war and broke generational curses for the love of her future kin. The Story is titled, “We Lost More in the War.” An omen of peace, progress and a brighter future. A philosophical implication of the core essence of the work being done with TreeHouse. An Ancestral Wisdom that has divinely been passed down and transformed into something magickal. Contact Mar Lamar for the whole story!
After an empowering dose of Virgo Women and a gratifying story from Mar Lamar, we find ourselves with a Virgo Male to drench us in the healing power of this Serviced Star. Our Fourth Artist of the Night is Jeff Toth. I find the love of synchronization with a signer and song writer, who is a Virgo Sun (Virgo is Mercury Ruled) and has a last name that could symbolize Toth/Thoth/Hermes/Mercury within mythology.Jeff is a relaxed dude, giving a comfortable and chill crowd presence. He remarked his name was like “tooth” without the second O. Another clever and symbolic moment of life. Jeff is a cat dad and finds himself on the softer side of music expression. Music is a form of therapy for his overall well being. A survivalist need for regulation and release. Jeff revealed to be inspired by Hozier. Walking the path ofsensual masculinity.

Jeff began his act with ‘Light Weight’ an emotional song that invoked nostalgia to my mother’s MatchBox-20 CD. As I was entranced by the music, I connected to moments of the music timeline throughout my life. I recalled songs from Jack Johnson or the Dave Matthews Band on the Radio. Soundtracks to the memories of my day to day life. Jeff segued into his second song, ‘Cold Sweats.’ Another song of the heart about a break up and the heartache that comes from separation. Jeff highlights the need and power of releasing such pain from the body in order to maintain emotional wellness. Walking the Walk of his Artistic Therapy Talk. After setting the foundation of who he is as an artist, Jeff closed out his set with a new song, ‘Natural Thing.’ Released March 6th, 2026. This song conveys the desire for a slower way of life. To reconnect with Gaia and the indigenous human connection and elements of nature. Relieving the self of pressure to jump from the anxious present to the mournful past.

Next in the Line Up we have Titus Cody. A classical soul musician with a modern spritz. Another Mercury Blessed Soul, a Gemini with the Voice of your favorite Jazz, Blues and Soul Piano Bar Pianist. Titus spotlights Tori Kelly as a foundational inspiration within his music. Opening up with his song “Voicemail” featuring special guest Davis Ginn on the flugelhorn. A powerful opener. A necessary mood setter to express the scale of talent embedded within Titus as an artist. His song was voiced with deep vocals. You can relate him to certain works of John Legend. A John Legend you would actually want to see perform live music. The Ambience was balanced, intentional, intimate and mesmerizing. The addition to the flugelhorn was absolutely divine and necessary. To say I would adore their instrumentals ofkeyboard piano and brass horns to dance around me at all times, would say the least. A remarkable duo. A style of music that feels lost in the majority of these new ages. Yet, something timeless that can never be forgotten. The settings a muse of this nature can venture, is infinite in potential.
From the Piano Bar, to Classical Theater, to modern Animation with a Disney Climax Character Arch Musical Number. The tone of emotional empowerment and self authority of self expression is prominent within his works, and within the instrumental talent of his special guest. With that, we dive into the final two songs. A notable appeasement within his ability to connect to a crowd. Titus kept the room intimate. Romantic and collaborative. Some performances can feel empty and disconnected from the audience, that is not the case here. Here we have a musical teacher, a leader of the art. An initiator planting seeds into the souls of his audience. Titus performed his songs ‘Rocky Road’ and ‘As Seen on TV’ to close out his night. Rocky Road is a disillusionment to the myth that Sticks and Stones May Break My Bone, But Words Shall Never Hurt Thee. It is accountability in how we speak to our fellow man, woman, peer and human. There may be a balance to the Freedom of Speech and the Emotional Intelligence required to remain in harmony with our neighbor. The need for the civilian population to remember to love thy neighbor.
Something we fail to do in competitive capitalistic states, social media facades, internet forums and within every self imposed, insecure intelligence or talent dick swinging contest. Rocky Road is a reminder to choose a path of love and to let it go, let it go, let it go. As I was swaying to the music, I envisioned Gene Wilder singing along in a Willy Wonka Scene. The subliminal initiation from the art we choose to digest. His closing song, ‘As Seen on TV’, was an impressive representation of speaking as a messenger of a collective voice. Leading a room into a space within themselves, a space of relativity. Empowering folks to take a deeper look at themselves. Expressing that pivotal moment of any story, when the main character realizes their epiphany of personal growth. There is the classical essence you would witness as a child, watching the Classic or Old School Disney Fairytales. You can recall moments in Pixar and the Digital Stratosphere where these conductors of turning points is vital to the life and human connection to a story.
Titus is not only a musician, nor a singer, but a storyteller of the spirit. An amplifier of truth that we all have a purpose to fill, and that the world is abundant enough for us all to be ourselves.
Transitioning sounds to our fifth act of the evening, we have Dean Batten. A loud and proud Aries, who beams pure joy that he is a “parody of himself.” A man living life to the fullest and embracing any gift of experience that is granted his way. A sensual, “poor” yet ambitious nomad with a death wish. A playful goat who wants to live fast and die (not so) young. Inspired by Jeff Buckley, Dean expresses aneclectic sound and performance act. Not quite fitting one mold, in any direction. A true, and genuine, wild card. Starting off the show with a classic long introduction and backstory, he reflects a daydream of what it may have meant to witness one of the first Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson shows. A young buck, Dean turns 30 at the end of March, and he is not slowing down on paving his own path. Opening his set with his new song, ‘They May Never Find Me,’ set to be released March 12th, 2026. We dive into an authentic experience that only a Jester such as himself would get himself into. A Modern Day YoungGuns “Billy the Kid-Peyote Scene,” Biker rendition. You could relate his sound, and/or presence to Amigo the Devil. Arguably with a lighter tone. Perhaps a poor statement on my end. However, that is whatcame to mind, and I will report it transparently as so. I digress.
Every detail of intention put into this song, a divine work of art. Shifting into his second song, ‘The Favor,’ we discover a new slang term, “shredful?” A word I will have to decipher for a bit longer, before I am ready to define with confidence. With this song we emphasize a need for deep connection to self-determination, leaving the reality of illusions, break free from the constraints of our minds and welcome in the new world. A New World created in our own vision. The World is what we Make It. So, let’s Create something great. After rebelling against the status quo, we leaped into Dean’s purest vision of rebellion and revolution, Love. Standing ten toes deep, Dean declared that “Love Songs will be the Songs of the Revolution.” Closing out his set, we have ‘Falling Waters.’ A southwestern and almost Hispanic/Latino rhythm. As the song unfolded, I wanted to dance to the rhythm of Santana being “shredful(?!)” On his guitar. There was a need for the sensually slutty and bluesy jam band combo to dance with the flow of the lyrics. It was glorious to witness the Full Circle conclusion of the spiritual cycle that inspired Dean’s music and interconnected to his external world performing at TreeHouse. That is the power of community; that is why the roots of the tree is nourished within the underground.

As the Flyer promoted, for our (final) Seventh performance of the evening we have Vintz Desert. A Fly Out Guest specially for TreeHouse Nash. Vintz currently resides in Maryland, however, was aMassachusetts native prior to transitioning a little further South. As the Virgos have taken over TreeHouse, we have another Virgo musing to experience. Conducting tunes within the Indie Folk realm, Vintzsources Novo Amor as a significant inspiration force behind his music. His performance began with bravely setting out to perform unplugged with his acoustic guitar. Adding to the intimacy of theperformance. Vintz has crafted deeply personal, soft, poetic, vulnerable, raw and relatable songs to share with the world. Opening the show we have ‘Rubberband Song,’ a soul song channeled for his beloved friend. Written as medicine to cure the suffering of his friend. A time capsule of love, to always remind his friend that they are loved, supported, seen and significant in this world. Finances, relationships, careers and dreams, they all weigh down the soul and speak lies of worthlessness. The Rubberband Song shows us all that guardian angels, soul family, support and all the above, are always around us. Somewhere. We simply need to look, and listen, in the right direction. Another lesson ins speaking from the heart, for you never know who needs a heart filled message. One that only a soul can bare. Flowing into his next song, a spiritual song that reflects the inevitably connection to the divine within us all. Claiming to be spiritual and not religious, Vintz expresses a stance that there is a higher power, however, that his relationship with this higher power is not confined by the restrictions and harm of modern religious regimes, cults and what have you. Presenting, “Small Pieces” Vintz sings a message of self acceptance. Rebelling against the hateful laws, paradigms and philosophies that poison the image of god. Small Pieces expresses the philosophy that the higher power is not restrictive, nor hateful. That you can cut yourself down to your core essence, and you would still remain the same. An authentic soul, made in divine image. Concluding his act with his song “Aphrodite,” the second acclamation of the Goddess this evening. Aphrodite is a song about going back home and the challenges one must face when seeking a home away from ancestral land. Vintz is currently writing and crafting new tunes. Set to release new music in the late spring, towards the end of April.

As we conclude our musical evening, we have a stunning Surprise Guest Finale. Singing their song ‘Send in the Harvest’ it is Fair Hazel and Your Friend Juniper, alternative folk musicians and a sincere couple made from the stars just for one another. This song was conducted in collaboration with the November (2025) Episode on the hit Podcast “Strangers On a Bench.” It was a lovely note to end ourevening. Fair Hazel and Your Friend Juniper create as a duet, as well, they each have their own solo projects. Both finding that music was their childhood dream, it is inspiring to see an affectionate couple ofthe arts. In a community of harsh romantic stereotypes, it can be refreshing to witness a couple that empowers one another’s craft and appears to be passionately devoted.
Inspired by Courtney Marie Andrews and Andy Shauf, Fair Hazel and Your Friend Juniper present music worthy of soundtracking to your favorite whimsical, western film. Envisioning scenes of the Wizard of Oz and Judy Garland, you can sense a classical, nostalgic and cinematic tone to the story telling within their introspective tunes. What a Night! What an Event with a Full Spectrum of Artists and Personalized Styles of Music. TreeHouse Nash has done it again. While this was my first experience, I could tell there was a flow in coordination of this production. Kudos to the discipline and structure throughout the entirety of the evening. We love a good show that is free of complications and delays. The night was one of blessed precision. An evening well spent in the underground. With a crowd of muses that are far opposite my typical realm of melodies. What a Blessing it is to Dive and Dwell with a Diverse group of Beings. How special it truly is to witness someone publicly share a piece, if not the wholeness, of their soul. Nights and Events like Tonight, with TreeHouse Nash, inspire us all into pursing our Hero’s Journey. Regardless of where you may stand on the Linear line of Success, Your Becoming, Your Mere Peregrination is the Drag Path for Future Generations. The Olive Branch to those who are Lost, and those who Dare Wander. May we all continue to Lead by Example and Trudge the Destiny’s we Create for Ourselves. Mother Nature is Abundant, The Earth is Ever Giving. May we Take Care of Her, our Material World. May we leave behind a Legacy of Inspiration and Authenticity. There is Nobody You-er than You. And that includes your Music, and all your Mediums too. Rock On!
